Basel is better then lazio i think. I saw the game, would be 0-0 if lazio would have neuer as gk^^

Lazio played utter shit

Matchetti is one of the badest gk in professional football

Now all italian teams out. Gz to the 3rd place @ bpl

What happened to him? I remember him having a brilliant season at Lazio.

Update!

Standings at the end of the season (as of now, after the 10th of 15 european game weeks):

2. Bundesliga - 63.070
3. Premier League - 59.159
4. Serie A - 59.082

So, EPL finally takes the lead over Serie A and secures their 4 CL spot for next season now that all italian clubs are out. However, the race is still tight if we look at how the standings will be at the begining of next season (with Serie A still ahead of the EPL), which is why I included the 17/18 column this time. EPL should try to earn as many points possible in the remainder of the current season.

Update!

Standings at the end of the season (as of now, after the 12th of 15 european game weeks):

2. Bundesliga - 64.641
3. Premier League - 60.534
4. Serie A - 59.082

EPL is widening the gap with Serie A, which is what they should be doing, because they are still behind the italians in next season's race if we look at the 17/18 column (although by only half a point now).

I haven't updated this for a few weeks since only Liverpool and Bayern were adding points to the race and changes weren't really that much relevant. Now that the season is over for the leagues involved in the race for the top 3 coefficient positions (Spain will still get 2 points added regardless of who wins the CL finals, but that doesn't change anything), I'll give this a final update.

End of season standings:

2. Bundesliga - 64.927
3. Premier League - 61.034
4. Serie A - 59.082

So, EPL keeps their 4 CL spots. GG.

But the race is far from over. As soon as the season ends, the 2011/12 points will be deducted and, as we can see on the table, next season's race will start like this:

2. Bundesliga - 46.999
3. Serie A - 44.666
4. Premier League - 44.606

So, Serie A will be ahead again and EPL clubs will have to perform better than the italian ones once again. It's only a 0.6 point difference though, which isn't much. Bundesliga clubs have a larger lead over the 4th position, but ~2.3 is still a somewhat short difference, and they could lose it if they underperform.

Should be another interesting race next season... as a neutral observer I hope there's drama until the final games, unlike this year where it was all decided in quarter finals :D

Tbh I don't even know how Germany is there.. Really only because of bayern.
Next season they will have teams like Mainz and Berlin in the Europa which hopefully won't get too many pts.
Juve+Napoli depending on the groups they get can rack up a lot of points. Roma's best scenario is to get 3rd and do well in Europa OR get a lucky match in the round of 16.

I think end of next year will be Spain, Italy, England with 4 spots to CL.
Also hopefully Dortmund sell their best players. They already sold hummels to their A team.
