Mallorca will be playing home today against Recreativeo de Huelva, Spain's first ever football club.

Recre has a decent team and should fight to get into promotion playoffs. They're coached by Oltra, the manager we had last season (the first of the 3 we had). Even though we were horrid during the 25 weeks the team spent under his orders, I always said it was the board's fault and not his.... the circumstances he had to face last season made it almost impossible for anyone to work, and the fact that the following managers couldn't get any better results proove this.

We desperately need to win our first game of the season, so anything other than a vctory would be unacceptable.

Mallorca 1 - 2 Recreativo

ffs, 1 point out of 12, this start is worse than last season's. Recre was superior in the first half, and we were superior in the second one. The score was 1-1 and it looked like Mallorca was going to score the winner, but then Recre counterattacked at the end of the game and got a pk that gave them the 3 points...

An unlucky game for us, but regardless of that it's atrocious that we are still haven't won a single game. As I feared, Karpin isn't a good manager, and the third party ownership signings we got suck.

Away to Cardiff today, could go either way, but definitely hopeful!

Seems Jelle Vossen loved playing for 30 mins on Saturday but was shocked at the intensity of the Championship stating 'Some of the normal challenges here you would get a straight red card for in Belgium'. But at the same time, he really enjoyed it and described it as his 'baptism of fire' hehe...

Even here in the UK it is known to be harder than any other league. Teams don't go to the premier league expecting to win the title, whereas everybody thinks that they are capable of challenging for the Championship trophy!
