haha so Van Gaal did used to roam the touchline, back in 1995 though (UCL final)

Van Gaal did remember a time when he was particularly animated when in charge of Dutch club Ajax -- the 1-0 Champions League final win over AC Milan in 1995 where he nearly kicked the fourth official.

"I did a karate kick," he said. "It was the 1995 Champions League final, Ajax against AC Milan, and I did a flying kick. We won 1-0, but we should have had a penalty for a high tackle on [Jari] Litmanen.

"I was angry, so I did a karate kick on the touchline -- about a foot away from the fourth official's face. I wanted to show him what had happened to Litmanen.

"It should have been a penalty, but the referee did not whistle for a penalty. And in that moment, I realised that a manager can never influence the referee by what he does on the touchline.

Win is a win b)

Guess Van Gaal will stay until the summer regardless of the results, but after that he needs to go.

Sir Alex Ferguson back to Manchester United? Surely not. ... Still, the Mirror sensationally reports that the Old Trafford legend could in fact be tempted to make an unlikely return to the club should Louis van Gaal be sacked. According to the paper, the 74-year-old former United boss would be willing to take a "hands-on role" behind the scenes to help Ryan Giggs if the Glazer family decides to part ways with Van Gaal and promote the ex-Wales winger to manager.

Would love to see Alex's legendary gum chewing once more :D
Do want.

Manchester United’s record in the Premier League and Champions League since the 3-1 victory over Liverpool in September:

– With Morgan Schneiderlin:

Played 14, Won 7, Drawn 7, Lost 0. Goals per game – 1.43. Conceded per game – 0.64.
– Without Morgan Schneiderlin:

Played 8, Won 1, Drawn 1, Lost 6. Goals per game – 1.00. Conceded per game – 1.88.

Anti Fellaini pretty much.
