Adidas last season signed a world-record £750m, 10-year deal to manufacture Manchester United's kit and while business has exceeded the firm's expectations, chief executive Hainer admitted he has been less pleased with the team's on-pitch performances.

doubt you even watch united games. or just simply dont know football in general.

VG decides the team play side ways poshesion football. he also decides strictly to play out of defence, even when opp team has like 4 players pressing high up. he also decides to have someone run over the ball when taking a freekick.
He also decides not to put on an attacker when going a goal down.

The squad isnt performing. even a blind man can see that. Only fools cant see LVG is destroying Man United. and you, by saying lvg isnt to blame, is just plain ignorant.

This has started even before fergesons last year. A lot of mediocore players with a few overperforming. No backups what so ever. Moyes wasn't the answer and everyone knew it. His panic buy amuses me to this day. Yes van Gaal plays defensively. But this system works if you have somewhat decent players. Or a striker who can actually score a goal. At man united, you simply do not play defensive football especially at home games against minows. That is a definite no no.

As united's manager, you have got to get your team to play a high tempo game and use the width of the pitch to your advantage. LVG's system basically reverses this and it goes like, de god gets the ball. he passes it to darmian. darmian is closed down. he passes it back to de god. de god lays it to chris who is then closed down and goes back to de god repeat a few times ball finally gets out of defence, ball reaches bastian. bastian plays it to mata. mata plays it to darmian. darmian plays it back to mata. mata plays to wayne. wayne plays it to bastian. bastian plays it to whoever is left back for the day. left back plays it to morgan. rinse and repeat until ball is lost in final third.
This is how fucking united had been playing until the chelski game. Horrible rigid robot like passing game from goalie to forwards. wtf is this shit. This is not tiki taka, not barcelona, not bayern and definitely not man united. Idk what the fuck this is. how many times have people felt so boring during man utd games?

Martial is awesome yes, but he cannot make the diffirence every single game (yet). If United would have a van Persie like two seasons a ago they'd be fighting for first place, they get a few decent chances every game and if they went in everyone would tolerate this type of play since you win 1-0/2-0/3-0 every time.

Fact; Louis Van Gaal is a man united manager.
