LVG had a very good world cup and the dutch team really played some nice attacking football.
But he really did shot himself in the foot this time. We were doing decent with 4-3-3 last year and somehow he decided 2 holding midfielders and side ways posheshion football would be a nice idea.
As for the disappointing youngsters that he has introduced to the first team, i dont blame him for that. I blame nicky butt. all of Blackett, varela, bothwick, powell, together with lingard and mc nair are no where near man united material. Butt SHOULD have simply told van gaal these youngsters are not good enuff or ready to step into the first team.
Saf knew better so he always plays senior players out of position like carrick and fletcher in defence or the famous one where he played rafael in midfield.
e/ and the only one with quality was adnan and he got farmed out on loan to bvb. wtf
