As we sign Mbappé, Pastore's only position would be in the midfield (as a 10 or 8) and so far we only have: Motta, Verratti, Rabiot, (Fabinho), Nkunku, Lo Celso. Motta won't play all of the matches, and Verratti will miss minimum between 5 - 10 matches because of his yellow cards.
Pastore will have playtime and I'm sure he can perform a full season.
