oh absolutely, the uk planning on becoming the new tax haven of the world and the usa the new cheap labour powerhouse, it's gonna be great. two nations going back in time hand in hand...

we'll only be a tax haven if the EU tries to treat us unfairly. its a negotiating chip for us to get a fair deal, at last. also things were better off back in the day so thats a compliment my friend.

on a more serious note though, no one is interested in keeping the brits out of the european market altogether, even when they finally leave the eu. it's just that it won't be free anymore, that's all - access will cost you, ask norway and switzerland...
ofc some ppl will try to make it as expensive as possible to deter potential followers (generally not a fan of such pettiness but i understand where they're coming from considering decades of british selfishness, arrogance, and demand for special treatment)...
