No one. Only Dmitri Payet played better than Iniesta.

Hence my statement, after the end of the group stages, I figured either Payet or Iniesta would win the award.

Neuer?

Boateng, Kroos, Ozil and Hummels have all been better than Neuer IMO.

Maybe better is the wrong word, more decisive perhaps a better choice. Neuer made one amazing save (was it against Italy?) but other than that he hasn't had that much to do this tournament iirc.

After last nite, it will be Penaldo although he had a mediocre presence at the EC this year.

Like I said, these prizes are won in the final stages of the tournament, and rightfully so. They are under immense pressure and if they perform well and make their country win games they deserve it IMO.
