Yeah good point, but Vardy hasn't been in form for a few months now apart from these 2 friendlies. Rooney is back in training in 10 days, there's a good chance he'll score more than Vardy from now until the end of the season. Provided enough assists/key passes to make up for not scoring goals, taking 2-3 defenders to stop him every game and not giving the back 6 of a team any rest at all. Not sure what else the guy could do. :wacko:

And Rooney has been finished for a long time. It's not a witch hunt or a "zomg you get paid lots of money" hunt, he's past it. He hasn't just been off his game or not as good as he once was, he's been woeful. Slow, lazy, past it.

I'd rather us go with Welbeck/Alli/Kane/Vardy in attack than see that fat shrek look-a-like ever put on an England shirt again.
