well obviously there are always exceptions to the rule but why do you think those "stars" are "stars"? not because they are so intelligent or handsome but because they are good at kicking a ball. so chances are that when teams with many good football players play against each other, the game is more likely to be good than 22 randoms playing against each other. again, i give you that tactics and anticipations as well as form and also luck are factors that influence matches - but i still rather watch the big boys dishing it out.
it's always nice if a game turns out better than expected and it will for sure happen at the euros, given the sheer number of games that will be played. but just looking at the line-ups you will know that from some matches you just can't expect high quality football...
