 ufkinwatlel.

Each of their players is almost top 5 in their own position. What more could you ask for in a national team?

This is not true.
They have neuer-boateng-muller
And Reus,gotze,ozil when they aren't injured/play good.
Trust me they really aren't that good.
E/ I don't mind germany (wanted them to win WC in the finals), but right now they are poor.

I will probably be in Antwerpen to catch a few games, als ze het degelijk aanpakken kan het een geweldig feest worden op de groenplaats.

Make a good argument why I should support them. Because in the old days an argument like "Henry" was good enough. Now I don't know.

Antwerp will be a good place to watch, Antwerp itself is actually on its way to the first division again so the atmosphere in the city is much better

Atmosphere there is always good imo. I might go to a few matches of Antwerp agian. It's right around the corner and I used to have some friends who always went. One contacted me if I wanted to go again, so first thing after winter break I go I guess :P

Ye but the club was in shambles for years, looks like they're solid atm tho. They're attracting more fans again and everyone is hoping to see a club from Antwerpen finally in the first division again

when the time comes you'll feel who you root for. i don't think anyone could really make a convincing argument here that actually makes you like a certain team so much that you will support it even if you "naturally" favour another team.

that being said, if germany gets eliminated i'd probably root for one of the underdog nations that never won a euro: ireland (should they qualify) because of their amazing supporters and fighting spirit, iceland just because it would be a great story if a country of that size actually won a major tournament or maybe even england just for the reason that they would be less jealous and hateful after finally winning something...

amongst the favourites i don't really mind any team winning. i like the spaniards for teaching the world successful football can be pretty (although i have to say your dutch boys came very close to that a couple of times over the last decades), the italians for their tactical approach and showing you don't need the best players to be a good team, the french for their insane player quality and the belgians well, for being belgians - who can really hate on them, they never did anything significant that would justify hate (except from congo) - and they are a relatively small nation with an insane amount of talent in the current generation...

actually the only team i really would NOT like to win is turkey...

Well the play yes. Atmosphere there is always good. I love catching games of "smaller" clubs. It feels better on a sunday drinking beer with some people you don't know shouting at players who can just as well be sitting next to you.
