Torn between City and Bayern... I ended up voting for City because they are the ones that needed the signings the most imo. Some of the other teams on the poll also did well, but they're not close to what Bayern and City have done.

Bayern.
2 world class players. 1 proven. Decent ammount of cash. No overpricing.

Shitty overpriced for a one dimensional rakeem, who had 1 good season.
And a Premier League reject that had one good season and is proven unreliable in big matches.
And an inform defender who had a good season at the age of 28

the same as last saturday, xabi and alaba helped out and it worked nicely
my boy javi is back in training and badstuber is also on the pitch working for his comeback
no problem at all

Both are slow as fuck. Boateng has decent speed, not bullet-like but decent.
With high line it is kinda crucial not having an old man tracking back (terry case)

hope you're not talking about alaba. he's fast. on xabi i agree, he will get raped by a good quick striker without a doubt. if the ref's not asleep a 2nd yellow before half time is a likely scenario for him...

boateng is one of the fastest players around. due to his size he's ofc not as agile as a player like douglas costa or messi but in terms of speed no problem at all...

this
boateng has incredible maximum speed

xabi is no option there on cl level, but in general he played there far better than in midfield
he goes short ways for clearences and alaba sweeps behind

I was talking about the players ampoo mentioned : javi, slow even before injury, he used to dominate midfield through positioning and cleverness. And badstuber.
And alaba yes, can play winger any given time.
Xabi was past it since his late madrid days, perhaps last 1-2 years in madrid. Now he had a glimmer of brilliance at the start of the season, making us think he still got it, but then crumbled into countless mistakes in crucial games : vs city, vs barcelona etc

badstuber truly is slow, javi is still alright imo

On lower lvl PSV did rather well. 5 new talents and earned ~50m on selling players. That is not nothing for a Dutch team imo.
