so is arsenal but they are defensively naive so i'll write em off.

But talking srsly I see Chelsea atleast going to finals next year, if not winning it.
And then once United gets back on track I see both united+chelsea in semi finals.

I don't see city ever making it past quarters. And unless pep goes to arsenal same for them.

cl also requires alot of luck. like which team u draw and at what stage and also who plays their games at home last.

you are right, of course you need luck
the right form for the right game at the right time

but that "2nd game at home advantage" is bullshit imo
in our treble season everyone was like omg first game at home vs barca and we won 4:0
on that level it doesnt really matter where you play

the english teams however need to catch up first before hoping for some luck to win ^^

yeah that true but many games have been won by the home team many times in the 2nd leg.

ok and let me break it down like this

english football- top quality
english national team - horrendous
heck there is literally zero englishmen that is worthy of being called a top top athlete. closet thing they got, andy murray but he aint even english

but anyways,the foreigners make english football what it is today while the english players are really struggling to prove they have what it takes.
i guess this is a decent explanation for their failings in cl. esp teams that plays english players

English league = top quality entertainment.
english teams in europe = horrendous and need to catch up with the other big teams - bayern, real and barca. It could even be argued that PSG are better than our teams now too

This is pretty much spot on.

English teams will catch back up though. Just need to get back to basics.

english football= all top tiers in england. not necessarily the pl. the championship is exciting too.
