Hey, they bought Figo, Ronaldo, Samuel, Woodgate, Robinho, Zidane, Kaká... and after 2003 until 2014 they never won a champions league, and they just sold 2 or 3 players.

they had long term/state (read illegal) loans, however at the moment they have ~ 150 mios short term which need to be serviced.
