All of these are great workhorses ofc, but Karagounis worked his ass off in every way... completely organizing and keeping Greece together, lifting the teams morale whenever the game stops, and capable of inspiring and revitilizing his team when all seems lost.

He's the best captain I've ever seen.

Yep. Not just in that Euro though, without him Greece would probably have missed out on almost every international tournament over the last decade.

Very true, shame he wasn't the best at Benfica, would have loved to see him in a top team in the premier league.
