Pool lame traitors.
You guys mad because the covern of the catalan comunity want get more money and steal it more like Jordi Pojol did. Then they start a propagandistic canpain to brainwash the people to suport it, but it has is ilegal, completly non sense and will only bring dead and destruction.

Probably you guys will pay for all this in a future.

Calanuña will never a country because has never been. Its just another comunity like Andalucia, Comunidad Valenciana Or Madrid.

DEAL WITH IT ;)

Edit: Guardiola is a great coach but is also a big hypocrite

The catalans had nothing forced on them, they approved the consititution with over 90% of the votes, which means that out of Spains 17 regions, Catalonia gave the 4th highest support to the constitution.

And as for the unique history part, it really isn't comparable to cases like Scottland. Spain began to exist when the kingdoms of Castilla and Aragón fused in the early 16th century. Catalonia had been part of Aragón for centuries back then, so Spain has never existed without catalonia. They were never a separate entity.

And there's no way there is going to be a catalan terrorist group. ETA originated in a dictatorship, not in a free state democracy; people don't see the world in the same way. Plus, basque nationalism traces back to the defeat of the "carlistas" which were a group of people that supported a very traditional ideology in Spain and the basque regions became their last stronghold... some of these people had a lot of money and helped towards the creation of an army.

well to be fair it is NOT the same as scotland you're right there, but your version of catalan history is pretty much one of a spaniard who wants to convince someone that catalonia has no reason or right to be independent - if they want to or not.
the catalans revolted against aragon as well as against spain. and they DO have a unique history and culture.

concerning the constitution i did not say they had it forced ON them. i said it basically forces them to stay part of spain.
i obviously don't know spanish history as well as you do but i could imagine they supported it so strongly because it officially gave them the status of an autonomous community and acknowledged them as seperate nationality which was already more than spain wanted to give them. i'm not so sure if they were aware of the fact that they basically just got a nicely sounding status but screwed by the fact they lost any realistic chance of becoming really independent ever in a peaceful and legal way. and even if they knew at the time it seems unjust to me now.

i really hope there won't be any armed independent movement but you know these days all it takes is a sick mind and a hardware store or a pilot's licence...

its not like there arent enough good coaches out there
pep thinks he is bigger than the club, but he is not
thats why i think he will not be coach for too long, especially when hoeneß is back

he also ruined thiago by sending him to a shitty doctor in barcelona who did everything wrong, instead of let our doc treating him (who is pretty much the worlds best sports doctor)

The catalans didn't fight Aragón. The majority of the catalan territories went under aragonese rule after a series of royal marriages.

Until the early 18th century Spain was kind of a confederation, with the country divided in 2 states (Castilla and Aragón). At the start of the 18th century there was a war that brought a new royal dinasty. The new roayal family was french and wanted to establish a french styled centralized goverment, and so abolished the separation of states. This is when the probalems begin. The aragonese territories revolted against the new king, and there was a long period of lack of stablity. However all of the aragonese regions managed to reach an agreement with the new king, whom they acknowledged in exchange for some of their lost privileges back... all except the catalans who kept revolting for much longer until they finally acknowledge the king.

The reason they were so stubborn is because they had to pay more taxes plus a big deal of the war costs (a softcore version of the WWI aftermath Germany had to got through). That's the start of catlan nationalism. Taxes, and not some historical patriotic feelings. In fact, when we read today many of the speeches the catalan rebels gave back then we can see that they were asking their people to fight for the "true Spain", the "protection of castillian and aragonese traditions", the "true king of Spain", etc... not an independent state. Its only when it was obvious that their cause was lost that the catalan independence cause gained more support.
