Why are people getting butthurt when we are paying tribute to a legend of the game? Don't need negativity in here...

Landon has done a great job being a role model for American players.

I wouldn't consider him a legend of the game, but definitely a legend to Americans.

Congratulations Landon on a great career.

i would not take that away from him, pretty sure he's one of their best players but come on, "legend"?
i mean that's like the ultimate inofficial title, there's nothing above that so it should be reserved for the few really outstanding players of the game...

a legend of US football, not a legend of the game

And I don't mean this in a hateful way; he's got my respect and he has been an important part of the development of football in the states, I don't think anyone here is taking that away from him

I guess I thought this was self-explanatory.

Everything is relative. He's a legend here because of what he has accomplished for the team and for the development of American soccer in general. I guess this might be hard to understand if you are not from here.

So I'll start by saying that he was one of the best American soccer players to ever play the game...

HOWEVER..

This move just shows what a lazy shit he is, and proves that Klinsmann was correct in not taking him to the World Cup.

Also someone please teach this fool how to speak. He sounds like a bored robot every time he talks on camera.
