There's no denying that they are both great clubs. I think maybe my wording wasn't right, perhaps looking more so at which club is a better draw for players to play at.

I don't know the figures, but I'm guessing Dortmund earn more on ticket sales, just because they have had champions league and the stadium is bigger. Apart from that though, the PL TV deals with clubs are outrageous. Plus Liverpool's international presence in growing markets like America is huge. I also doubt most Asians have heard of Dortmund. So overall money-wise Liverpool I'm confident are ahead, which you would expect as they spend more and get more investment.

Football wise is just a matter of opinion, I have my own biased opinion, like some others do. But the fact we're having this discussion proves that it is close either way
