More than obvious it's simply because of the TV deals..

If EPL had the same system La Liga has, we'd see them on top of the rankings.
The skewed tv deal in Spain fucks all but two clubs in the ass.

english clubs get more than enough money thats for sure

i just read that bayern is going to get around 51 mio from tv money if they win the title
in epl cardiff city got around 75 mio last season and they finished 20th in the league

wtf is this xdddd

the thing in la liga is, that the clubs are selling their tv rights themselves
of course almost everyone wants to see barca and real so they get most of the money

bundesliga is much fairer in that regard

That's not the issue, the other clubs in La liga get a stupid low amount of money from the tv deals, if anything at all that they simply can not be a competition for the two big clubs.
Therefor they win the league almot everytime (last season was an exception, props to Atletico) making them gain even more money trough tv deals.

While in England, as Ampoo said, even the small clubs can get big tv deals, therefor they could be a challenge for everyone, and we can see atleast 4 teams minimum fighting for the title.

In the end, La liga is the league with the most talent, bundesliga is the league with the best team (as in teamwork), while england is the most competitive league, since everyone could beat anyone.

This is about why La Liga is so far ahead in the uefa coefficent and thats not because of the tv deals..

Even the lower spanish clubs have done better than the english the last 5 years with far less money

in terms of success and performance i agree.
in terms of attractiveness and maybe average team strength i still think epl >

however, to call primera division a farmer league, like so many premier league "fans" like to do, is retarded. the "rest" still is good enough to win titles against the "rest" of other leagues...
and yeah the tv revenue deals in spain are ridiculous indeed... didn't they want to make new rules for that though? iirc i read something about that...

They could. Could. They apparently can`t. :(

Its so ungrateful to give a trully attrocious team 75 mio just to show up.

And which 4 clubs ? It was arsenal and united till abramovich, then chelski/united. 2 league team aswell.

Liverpool failed since the late 80`s.
Man shitty won 2 titles, both of them in the last second. Trully undeserved.
