even more when it includes benzema in top3, I don't understand why people rate him so high at this wc, he hasn't been outstanding at all

a good list, thx zark for running it.
and the result is surprisingly accurate although i'm not really a fan of these kind of point based rankings since a player who had one outstanding match and like 4 really bad performances could still make it into the top 10...

for me hummels is MOTWC
been great in every match he featured
unfortunately worldclass defending doesn't get as much recognition as scoring a few penalties

Cannavaro got second place after Zidane in the world cup 2006 though.


With Cannavaro/Nesta as CBs Italy only conceded two goals; an own goal and a a penalty (not the defence's fault)

why is oscar so low? he was the only good brazillian in every game (except maybe the germany game which i didn't see live)
