After berlin wall down they opened borders to multiculturalisation.

Now you can`t buy a fuckin coke without meeting a turk, you can`t get into a club without seeing some pair of eyes in the dark watching you and shit like that.

Team america is doing the same. Inbe4 they win world cup 2090

Can't go to Spain without running into idiot Romanians too now it seems

yeah right, because opening the borders to turkish immigrants allowed us to import their football knowledge and superior football culture... we all know what a rich and successful football history turkey has - countless euro and world cup titles... oh wait...

again, just "banter", huh? you remind me of pavlov's dog. looks like everytime you read "german(y)" you have to think and post about the war.
unfortunately you're at a point where you can't just claim it's "trolling" anymore because you obviously just can't help it...

I'm sorry you think that. I can assure you, though, I'm just trying to have a laugh. I have no doubts that Germany are the best in the world at football right now.

the reunification was in 1990
before that you basically had 2 (or even 3) german national teams. West Germany, East Germany and some even considered Saarland as a self declared national team too.
After the 40's, they were basically not allowed to play actually. It lasted long, the Nazi reputation followed them everywhere. The country was devided, shit was bad.
The wall collapsed, germany grew again, so did sport. The West/East/Saarland formed a team, and you basically get this now.

I've decided to jump on das bandwagon for this one game only, afterall as an European and a football fan I guess I'd like to see a fellow European and a better footballing side to win.
Tell me, my German mates, how did you manage to get so relatively good so quickly after disastrous late 1990s and early 2000s?

wm 1994 quarter final / 1998 quarter final / 2002 2nd / 2006 3rd

em 1996 1st / 2000 group stage / 2004 group stage / 2008 2nd

yes, there are some who would consider that disastrous
but most countries would be overjoyed with those results

wtf? Germany was much more succesful as West Germany... they won 5 of their 6 Eurp/WC titles before the reunification.

In fact the last tournament they played before the reunification was the last WC they won.

Germany has been a football superpower for many decades; the nazis, the split or the reunification doesn't change that,

There are probably more german players in team america than in current germany squad.
Khedira, boateng, klose, ozil
etc

khedira - born stuttagart 1987
oezil - born gelsenkirchen 1988
klose - while born in poland is an ethnic german

and plenty other ethnic groups came to german well before the reunification
(actually many even centuries ago, just like your homeland has ethnic diversity)
but let's look at west germany:

During the 1950s and 1960s, West Germany signed bilateral recruitment agreements with Italy in 1955, Greece and Spain in 1960, Ireland and Turkey in 1961, Morocco in 1963, Portugal in 1964, Tunisia in 1965, and Yugoslavia in 1968.

there were millions of ethnic turks (and others) in germany well before 1989 and plenty already born there
plus germany has accepted many refugees over the years
