In the end, it will all go on as if nothing happened. Murcia's relegation due to debts was confirmed, and Mirandés will take their spot in a 22 team league, which will start tomorrow saturday.

The judge accepted La Liga's claims (they said they couldn't relegate Mirandés because they had already licensed them, and that they can't expand the league to more than 22 teams due to a series of agreements they have with the players union, and other groups).

However, La Liga will have to compensate Murcia with 4M€, which is a lot of money in the third level.

Mallorca will play away against newly relegated Valladolid. Both teams are among the top candidates to promote... let's see what happens, I quite like the team we've been building (although not so much the latest signings and the manager though) so I have faith.

In the long run, I think that the 4m Euro's will be better for Murcia than the promotion. We just bought Kike off of them for ~3m Euro's too, so they are doing well compared to what they were!

On another note, Kike is doing great for Middlesbrough, 3 goals in 4 games! Nsue as you said hasn't really been a shining light. He may adapt though. We are playing our youth player a little more (Adam Reach) who is showing some real promise. Damia Abella was bought last week, formally of Osasuna. Have to say I haven't seen him do a great deal, but he is willing to join the attacks, which is good. Just needs to learn to track back a bit better.

Middlesbrough are in the running to play Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow, I can't wait, it is a home game, and there is so much promise about the stadium! They are doing well, as are we, but we have a better team, and have a home advantage. To win this game will put us in promotion contending places, 4 games in to the new season, and hopefully that is where we will stay :)

Nice

Damià was never too great in La Liga, but still managing to play in top flight for over a decade is rarely a coincidence.

we lost 2-1 :/

it was a pretty balanced game, although Valladolid pushed a bit more (especially during the begining of the second half)

their second goal was on offside -_-

We had a few players missing... they should be back for the next game, so I hope it all goes well from then on
