This makes the 7-2 game a tiny bit less painful!

Arteta running out of time. If there were fans in the stands, booing and groaning, the toxic atmosphere would have him under far more pressure than he is right now.

Willian signing for 3 years on a huge contract is comical. Pepe remains garbage, one of the worst transfers in recent years. Lacazette getting playing time in the EPL is a crime.

Grealish gave you a football lesson out there today. It should have been 4-0, that 1st goal should not have been ruled out.

There would be that famous Emirates toxicity, but the fans would be booing at the players more than Arteta. He's popular with fans and still has a lot of goodwill from the FA cup win recently.

Grealish shouldn't have signed a new contract at Villa for the money. He's going be another Zaha - a wasted talent at a club not challenging for honours.

Would hold a bit of weight if Zaha hadn't already got his big money transfer to utd and completely flopped.

Grealish will get the same chance next summer from one of the big teams who won't stand for villa actually competing. No shame in signing a new contract so your boyhood club can get top money for you.

Arteta is to blame yes, so are the players. There is a clear problem and that is the creativity.

That being said, Arteta has every right to be wrong at times, he's still a young coach and deserves the possibility to make errors. We've seen massive improvements already and it's daft to say Arteta out.

We have a terrible part of a fanbase that cries this person out everytime something goes wrong, we we're bad last night and I say really bad but we need to move on and improve.

Terrible game last night, Willian has been horrible and everyone wants to see Pepe start. Aston Villa however, what a midfield they have. They completely bossed us at our own ground and applauds have to go to them.

i can see Citeh signing him if Pep stays. he’d thrive there

They have Foden who plays in sort of similar position.

None of top 4 really have space to accommodate him in fairness.
