Really don't understand why he agreed to this.

To push yourself out of the club in a rather disrespectul way is not okay, but it happens in football. But this is just pure disrespect.

Really didn't see this coming from someone who has been so loyal and professional for the club.

Atleast until Holding is fit. That's why the loan offer for Rugani made sense. Seems that Juventus have no interest of loaning him however..

i don't rate holding (or chambers) to be honest. neither of them looks like they should be starting for a top 6 premier league club. i'd even prefer mustafi (who i also don't consider a good player) over them, at least when he's somewhat awake and focused, which obviously is a big issue with him.
imo sokratis is the only centre back who has the quality to regularly play now that koscielny has declined and changed clubs, and he's 31 already. you should definitely spend some money on that position imo, maybe either of the guys (holding & chambers) still develops into something decent, they aren't that old yet, but currently they look pretty damn average in my opinion, mid table material.

Interesting. I actually consider Holding one of our biggest talents in the squad. He was incredible for us last season before his injury and after he fell out our defence turned to shambles.
I do agree that we need to find another CB tho. Really hope we end up getting one.

well, it's a small sample size, maybe i'm just misjudging him, obviously you follow arsenal much more closely. maybe he will be your future after all, but he isn't back yet anyway, is he?
i just know for a fact that neither chambers nor mustafi should be starting for a club like arsenal, and to solely rely on a 23 year old returning from a lenthy injury like that obviously would be a huge risk, so yes, some quality on that position is needed.

weren't you interested in benfica's rúben dias? he seems like a good candidate imo...

100% agree that we can't rely on them. Chambers did have a good season at Fulham apperantly (how good can it be when you're relegated).

We were/are indeed interested in him but haven't heard any rumours of him the past few weeks. It looks like we'll either go for Upamecano or Rugani.

Really hope we snag Tierney aswell tho, lad looks promising.

the only time i've ever seen rugani play is when juve was eliminated by ajax, so i don't really know much about him. that said, juve has quite the tradition of creating good centre backs, so i guess you probably can't go completely wrong with him.

tierney isn't a cb though, is he?

Don't know much about Rugani either other than the fact he's been a bench player for the past 3 seasons.

Tierney is a leftback but can also play cb, but we would 100% get him to just play as a leftback to fight for his place vs Kolasinac.

Happy to see Welbz go to Watford. He was good for us and I hope he does well!

Tierney apperantly done, Luiz close.

Really happy with Tierney, Luiz idk. But this has been a great window for us, surprisingly.
