With Boateng still missing, it wasn't as easy building up for Germany. And after seeing how it worked out yesterday, Löw will hopefully also re-evaluate Can / Rüdiger. Both had lots of abysmal passes and hopeless dribbling tries.
Hummels only played 1 half and Kane was basically invisible as long as he was there to organize the back 4 or 5. It only got chaotic after he was replaced by the most overrated CB in recent Bundesliga history, Tah.
With Hummels being busy keeping those 3 other clowns in place in defense and Boateng missing, it's no wonder the offensive line didn't get the chance to shine really. Especially Boateng with a long ball or two could have been deadly to England pressuring that high on the pitch.
