lahm and schweinsteiger are 29/30 but age is getting to them through wear and tear. Physically they are past it, from 10 years of constant footballing at the highest level. Ronaldo is getting to the same as well as Rooney

Laliga is Barca + Real...both badly in debt, followed by bankrupt peasants.
For me, its just about principles, holding the cl-trophy as the best team of Europe, you should be able to win your own league
German football is pretty much a non entity now, unless you're a Munich fan who enjoys getting the league title being handed to them on a silver plate at the start of every season.

Enjoyed this game, and really thought that France would have moved on. They played much better than the Germans.

Germany is going to have a lot of problems against Brazil if they don't step it up a bit.

they did not
you really watched different games, you got this game and the brazil game pretty much wrong

germany was better today and deserved a close win imo
colombia was better on the pitch, but free kicks and corners killed them

I actually agree, sorry to you Germans but your league is non competitive, the same as ligue 1 but Bayern > PSG. I don't enjoy watching Schalke get raped in the champions league every year

To each their own.

I just thought France looked hungrier and put moves together much better than Germany did. Not to discount Germany's goal which was a great header, but they just didn't look all that good.

Again, I was for a Colombia win, but I honestly did not see much good from them until the last 25.
