I wouldn't call Madrid's play during the Copa final, the second legs of CL and this year's Copa, and both SC matches, defensive play. I was actually satisfied with the mentality and football the team showed. 1 win, 1 loss and 2 draws is a pretty good outcome considering none of those 4 games were played home and it was against the world's best team these past 3 years. It just annoys me they didn't play like this the first legs of the Copa and CL, it's obvious Barça has suffered a lot more when they've been pushed on.

Problem about copa and chl is there's 2 legs. cant fear the opponent in 1 match and then try to gain back on it in the second leg.

yup, that's why I'm saying they should have played like that from the begining and not waited for the second leg (specially when it's away, making it even more difficult to turn the result round). Idk if Madrid would have won or lost, but at least one wouldn't get the feeling a chance was lost. The Supercopa was very enjoyable, both teams played with an attacking mentality and it was all decided in the injury time of the second leg.

If Real can hold on to La Liga and manage to win CL, or at least match Barca's position (if they both get KO'ed in the semis) there's little doubt who's gonna win ballon d'or this year.
