which are very realistic

You omitted the most important part. So no ballon d'or. So i was right.

Stepping aside, Van Graal should be admired for having the balls to do what moyes was too afraid to do : getting rid of overpaid crapsters : Nani, Rafael, Evans, Cleverley, lindegaard, chicharito cutting the wage bill significantly.
Only aspect in which he improved united.

David De Gea is set to extend his contract with Manchester United, according to AS.

The Spanish goalkeeper's current deal expires next summer and with his dream move to Real Madrid having collapsed on Monday, De Gea is reportedly now keen to continue at Old Trafford beyond June 2015.

Spanish sports newspaper AS reported on Thursday that De Gea's agent Jorge Mendes is already negotiating a new deal for the 24-year-old with United.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque warned De Gea that only playing regularly at his club would see him earn a spot in La Roja's squad for Euro 2016.

De Gea, who has made a total of 131 appearances for United since signing for the English club in 2011, has not played for the Red Devils since July 29.

United manager Louis van Gaal has opted to start summer signing Sergio Romero instead.

Romero signed as a free agent two months ago and De Gea will have to fight with the Argentina international to reclaim the No. 1 spot.

Louis van Gaal has yet to select David De Gea for Manchester United this season.
AS reports De Gea is now desperate to return to be United's first choice and to sign a contract extension would see him achieve that.

According to the publication, Mendes and De Gea had a meeting on Tuesday in Madrid, where the player is training with Spain's national team ahead of Euro 2016 qualifiers against Slovakia and Macedonia.

In that meeting, De Gea declared to his agent his intention to extend his contract with the English giants.

Marca is less convinced of that and report in Thursday's edition that De Gea has not made a decision yet regarding his future.

The paper says that Madrid will not negotiate with United in the winter transfer market for De Gea, and will hope that the player does not sign a contract extension so that he can join Los Blancos as a free agent after June 30, 2016.

Madrid blamed United for the collapse of De Gea's transfer -- claiming that the Red Devils sent Keylor Navas' transfer documents late -- but United hit back as a war of words escalated by claiming that the Spanish club were at fault for the move breaking down.

Navas was expected to move to Old Trafford on Monday -- a condition that United had imposed on Real in order to sell De Gea.

Spanish Football League (LFP) president Javier Tebas supported Madrid's version of events regarding De Gea, saying on Wednesday: "What happened, as far as I know, is closest to the version given by Real Madrid."

lmao, Marca is trying to deny it of course, but it's on AS

Maybe he's coming to his senses and starts appreciating what the club did for him.
