Gratz Zark!

To follow the new kits, I like our new away kit!

Not a massive fan of the new kit, but it is different to the regular horizontal band!

Think I'm the opposite. Really don't like the away kit, the yellow bands look funny. The home kit looks quite nice though.

We went with something similar to last seasons training kit for the away. The home is nice, but it's just too different for me, I am used to Boro in the horizontal white stripe, or the late 90's shirts!

Well, thanks, it's great that we avoided disaster dispite only getting a draw (0-0 where we dominated the first half and then went on to kind of park the bus when Córdoba began to push harder and we realized the draw would be enough to avoid relegation).

The season has been an utter disgrace though. The goal in septeber was to promote, and we have only managed to avoid relegation in the last game. It has been a total failure, and now we must change a lot of things in order to promote back to where we belong.

The first thing that's going to change is the squad. It's very likely that only 3-4 players of the current squad will continue, because most of our players are either retiring, ending their contracts or are on loan. And out of the ones that could continue, some of them will be sold. Mallorca will have to build a new team almost from scratch, with a reduced budget compared to the one they had this season (although it's still one of the best budgets in Segunda).

However that budget could be bigger if someone buys the club and invests some money... and there are currently rumours all over the media about an investment group indirectly controlled by Roman Abramovic buying Lorenzo Serra Ferrer's and Biel Cerdà's shares. I'm always skeptic about these things, especially when I hear "investment groups" and not a physical person, or "indirectly controlled" by someone with a big name.... but at least it would bring stability to the clubs since that ownership would have 55% of the shares.

If the rumours are true, our keeper Dudu Aouate (who is a legend in the club but is past it and will retire now) will beccome the new sports director (he has been taking official courses for that position through out the last 2 seasons). Valeri Karpin, who brings a nostalgic aroma to La Liga fans because he played in Spain for over a decade (mostly for la Real and Celta, clubs where he's a legend), is apparently involved in the operation and could become the team's new manager... I'm not really looking foraward to that though because I heard he has a terrible managerial record.

Let's see what ends up happenning... if the rumours are true, the club won't make it official until july, because Serra signed a deal lasts summer that stops him from selling his shares until then. So we're going to have to wait.

Like I said, it's only a rumour right now, and it's not really Roman Aramovich but an investment group that's supposedly controlled by him.
