Mallorca is playing their last and decisive game tomorrow. An away game against Córdoba will decide wether we stay in Segunda or not.

Córdoba has spent most of its history in the 2nd and 3rd levels (pretty much equally), although they managed to play in Primera throughout most of the 60s. Aside from a 2 year spell in the 3rd level, they've been playng in Segunda the last 15 years, finishing in the mid-low part of the table most of the time.
This year they are doing well though. The reason behind this though, is their outstanding form when playing home. Out of the 29 points they have, 23 were achieved home, making them the best home team and the second worst away team in Segunda.
Córdoba is still up in playoff positios with one game to go. However they've really stepped down while playing home, achieving only 10 points in the 9 games they've played home during the second half of the season, so I hope my boys can do well.
Both teams need to win though. If Córdoba loses they'll be out of playoffs because the 2 teams behind them (Sabadell and Recreativo) play against each other and whatever the outcome of their game is, one of the teams will overtake Córdoba. If they draw, they'll only make it if Sabadell and Recre also draw or the team ahead of them (Las Palmas) loses home against Ponferradina, which just needs one point to avoid relegation (both unlikely combinations). If they win they'll make it to playoffs.
If Mallorca wins in Córdoba, they'll avoid relegation. If they draw... well it depends because there are an insane amount of possible combinations since there are 8 teams crammed up in a 3 point margin. Most of the outcomes favour Mallorca, but some of the ones that don't aren't really unlikely. If Mallorca loses, they'll have to wait and hope that 3 of the following happen:
Mirandés loses
Castilla loses or draws
Girona loses or draws
Alavés loses or draws
Jaén loses or draws
Jaén and Alavés play against each other, so at least one of them will be relegated and the best thing would be that they end up drawing so they are both down and Mallorca would only have to wait for Girona, Castilla or Mirandés to lose or draw. Girona is playing home against the 2nd placed and Castilla is playing away against the 3rd placed, so it wouldn't be a big surprise if they choked. Mirandés plays away against Lugo, which only needs a point to avoid relegation (and they probably won't even need that point), so I doubt they'll lose.
