:(

Really wish him the best, he's great guy indeed and he definitely was a great player.

Villarreal, where he's an icon, has invited him to join them for preseason, and they said they'll consider offering him a contract if he's fit. I sure hope he can play again, but tbh I think he'd likely fit better in his beloved Oviedo, which might even promote to Primera in a few weeks (with two games to go, they are 1 point away from the playoffs... and all of the clubs fighting for promotion are very, very equal, so anything can happen). I doubt he can play EL level football anymore (nor that having two games per week would be good for him).

It's really uncertain on what he can handle anymore. Almost 2 years without playing..
I thought we would still give him a chance, but forgot his contract was running out this summer. I hope to see him at Villareal tbh, perhaps for just one season and then go to Oviedo.

Guy was such a joy to watch man.

Will honestly be disappointed with Emery. Hasn't proved anything since his Sevilla days. Was dreadful at PSG.

If he signs, I'll support him 100%. But I think there should have been a better candidate.
