it would definitely be a bit of an upset considering how well italy played so far, but i think people might underestimate austria's team a bit. they have some real quality in that squad (alaba, sabitzer, laimer, baumgartner...) and a competent manager.

that was quite the match. first half was a tactical / teamplay master class by italy. second half you could see austria's confidence grow by the minute, created some real nice opportunities, and even in extra time, after italy scored twice, they didn't give up and scored a well deserved goal. grats to both teams, some proper football tonight. the only thing that will never stop bothering me is the typical italian diving, especially by verRATti.
