germany has got the worst team of the tournament.. players like neuer, boateng, hummels, reus, kroos, gundogan, gotze, ozil, muller etc are overrated.. in contrast with england for example. which has got a much better team with much more experience and big names like rooney, wilshere, walcott etc.... after they destroyed germany in a friendy they are the title favorites now.

It's almost always the nation/club that plays best as a team that wins trophies in the end. Last time that was different was probably some day back in the late 80s (which coincidentally is the exact same time I think you're somehow still living in imaginarily).

11 great individual players can be utterly useless when they do not work well together, in the right formation, with the right system/tactical approach at hand and under the right coach giving the right assignments to the right portion of his respective players.
