this is just from yesterday:

you wouldn't believe how big the butthurt was after we eliminated them in 2010...

like i said:

I am English, and I wasn't that butthurt? Upson was a disaster for us and we deserved to lose. Could have played against San Marino with the same result the way we played that game...

To me it seems that YOU are the one raging about the war, when we should be talking about football teams? To be honest, with our squad, I don't think Danny Graham could hit the target with a springfield sniper rifle! (You may understand this analogy!) Rationalise all you want on why there seems to be a rivalry between England and Germany. This thread is for discussing England, not Germany. You are just hijacking it and being a bit of a douche! You may be right in some of what you are saying, however not EVERYBODY, as you seem to think, is living in the past, racist and chauvinist.

Englishman and proud! Come on you lions!

wow, i even highlighted it the second time to make it easier to see and still you missed it and claim the opposite - i do NOT think EVERY brit is like this. but again and again in this forum they are the ones bringing it up. just like this time.
so it's just fair to point that out imo.

and yes, there IS a rivalry, i would never deny that. but it's a football rivalry, what does the war have to do with it?!

Similar line up as against Peru and Honduras I think, with Wayne man marking Pirlo.

Sturridge
Welbeck Rooney Lallana
Gerrard Henderson
Baines Cahill Jagielka Johnson
Hart

Sterling to come on as an impact sub especially if we have to chase the game.

More adventurous set up would be -

Sturridge
Rooney Sterling Lallana
Gerrard Henderson
Baines Cahill Jagielka Johnson
Hart

As long as Milner doesn't start on the right wing I'm happy.

No Welbeck please!

Rather him come on as a sub for Danny afterwards. I think Sterling is going to have a great world cup.

Also hope we play positive attacking football rather than sit back and defend.
