“After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season.

“I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years.

“I managed the club with full commitment and integrity.

“I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special.

“I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high.

“To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club.

"My love and support for ever.”

Arsene Wenger

Thank you for everything mister Arsenal

FINALLY! better him mentioning it now than after being routed by atletico.

Wonder if he’ll hang up his long coats for good or manage a team like PSG

Fucking finally!

Arsenal can finally move on. It might be a complicated transition phase, but it's long overdue. Hopefully Arsenal can go back to being a proper team again.

This could be a case of "Be careful what you wish for". The new manager at Arsenal will have the same pressure as Moyes and Van Gaal had at United.

totally different to what david or louis or even jose will encounter at arsenal cause they havent been winning league titles nor even remotely challenging.
the new manager just have to qualify for CL every year and he'll be more or less safe.
The only worry for arsenal fans, is the brand of football.

Be careful what you wish for?! Arsenal shouldn’t be below 6th next season considering the gulf in quality between the top 6 and rest

Take it as a blessing. If he stayed, what would there be to be excited about? Underachieving every single year for the last 15 years basically.

It's still hurts to see him go. He's been here for over 22 years and I'm only 23 years old. I've never knewn another coach so it's reaching in the dark for me atm.

It's going to be so weird seeing someone else in the dugout.
