its a chance to revive arsenal, there certainly will be some good money for transfers available and arsenal is much more manager friendly than chelsea imo

if your board has only 10% of the patience with the new coach compared to wenger.....that would be plenty of time to rebuild a new team

That's what I'm not sure about. Will the next manager have as much of a backing as AW has? I really don't want us to become a club that has a new manager every season.

am a fan of always looking to your former players. players who know the club, the system, youth etc etc

that cant viera is in usa.
henry and keown is doing telly.
adams is somewhere. surely one of them can do the job and you have nothing to lose anyway

Elneny signed a new deal B)

Really nice guy and a perfect squad player. He has improved alot when it comes to passing the ball forward.

I think that Jardim would be the best (or at least one of the best) realistic option for you guys. However, I'm undecided on whether it would be better or not to first hire some bigger name like Ancellotti, Allegri or whatever for a short term project (just so, regardless of wether he fails or succeeds, you have someone that soaks up all the post-Wenger pressure), and then give a long term ambitious yet patient project to someone like Jardim.

ancelotti ffs

this team needs a rebuild and some tactics, not a laissez faire manager

I don't think he'd do well, but at least he'd soak up the pressure so that the following manager could work properly.

The reason most want Wenger out is so we can instantly compete for prizes. If this happens then it means we will have at least 2-3 more awefull seasons. Not sure if we're up for that.
