Does Suarez do the same for Uruguay?
Exactly. calm ur tits bro.
err 71 caps 39 goals for Suarez 0.55 goals per game
109 caps 47 goals for Ronaldo 0.43 goals per game
Since his great debut back in 2004 for national team he has done very little till the Euro 2012 and hat-trick that sent Portugal to WC 2014
Lets take it part by part:
Ronaldo:
After good start in 2004 he did score bunch of goals in wc 2006 qualification, none of them being very important goals though as opponents where weak such as Latvia, Estonia etc
WC 2006 1 goal against Iran lol
Euro 2008
Qualification: bunch of goals, some important such as the ones against Armenia, Poland to give his team draw, other winner against Kazakhstan, all other goals where pretty unimportant as again opponents where weak. (even Belgium who had very crappy squad till 2008-2009)
Euro 2008 one goal against Czech Republic
WC 2010
Qualification: 0 goalsTournament: 1 goal against North Korea (7-1 or w.e)
Euro 2012
Qualification: 2 against Cyprus in 4-0 win, 1 against Denmark in a 2-1 loss, 2 against Bosnia in 6-2 blowout win,
5 goals in qualification, none of them really important imho
Tournament:
2 against Netherlands, 1 against Czech Republic, all important both last goals winners. Ok first decent tournament, he was far from best player in the tournament nor a top scorer.
Suarez internationally:
Has managed to be the reason his country has got to WC Semis since 1970, something Ronaldo hasn't done yet with Portugal (he had very mediocre game in quarters wc 2006)
So overall
I'd much rather have Suarez in the international team, as internationally Suarez > Ronaldo
