Romero just said for United, not sure what's the point as he's not good enough to be no 1 and Lindegaard or even Johnstone are perfectly good enough reserve keepers.

Typically van Gaal, he worked with romero at AZ Alkmaar so he prefers buying a worse player than an actually good keeper. Romero used to be way too inconsistent and physically weak to play in the premier league.

On the other hand, he will never play and isnt too expensive.
