Didn't Wenger field the first starting XI of all foreign talent in the PL?

He has a point but holding onto this Class of '92 stuff, is rather silly; there won't be another one of those period. Times have changed for better or worse. The only club that can create talent and hold onto it from academy --> first team is Barca (at least that will consistently compete domestically and in the UCL that I can think of). Even then they support this with top-notch transfers recently like Suarez, Neymar, Rakitic, etc.

it can be done but not with van gaal who is forced to deliver short term success for now. altho he has already promoted patrick, james etc etc. but he really doesnt have much time.
