I really dont understand why people say he is unreliable or not world class as a striker.

I do agree united need another striker to take some of the load off of his shoulders or say if he gets hurt or gets a violent red (again), but he averages ~17 goals a season which is pretty class too me.

Because he AVERAGED 17 goals a season. 12 last season and was average at best all season. He is past his peak and instead of spending insane amounts of money of new midfielders money should be dropped on a true world class striker.

Don't need another striker at all, Chicharito might stay and there's also Wilson, Depay and Januzaj.

cant speak for wilson, but we all know that van gaal is good with homegrown players

Not an out and out striker, more of a false 9 forward role.

He rates Wilson very highly apparently and buying another top striker when playing 1 up top with Rooney as captain who is gonna play every week isn't ideal.
