Hmmm, you've seen in the past we lose the midfield against big teams with a 2 man midfield. Atletico isn't the best example since they don't play possession. But against a team like Barca or city, that extra man in the mid would help imo

But you're not just playing a 3 man midfield against barca or city are you. You're doing it against everyone, including newcastle

Hmmm that's not entire true since against Swansea we played with both Pedro + Willian. but it also helps us get more used to the system If we play 3-5-2. I see us having no problem with either formation ve the weaker sides tho
