I just realized that we now have more CL titles that the second team with the most CLs (Milan, 7) and the third (Ajax, Bayern, Liverpool or Barça with 5... chose one) combined

Meanwhile, Cristiano has become the 11th player ever to win 10 CLs, joining the exclusive list made up by:
Alfredo Di Stefano (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Héctor Rial (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Marquitos (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
José María Zárraga (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Juan Alonso (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Rafael Lesmes (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Juan Santiesteban (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60)
Paolo Maldini (AC Milan 1988/89, 1989/90, 1993/94, 2002/03, 2006/07)
Costacurta (AC Milan 1988/89, 1989/90, 1993/94, 2002/03, 2006/07)
and, ofc, Paco Gento, the only player with 6 (Real Madrid CF 1955/56, 1956/57, 1957/58, 1958/59, 1959/60, 1965/66)

From that list it should be noted though that, unlike the always instrumental Gento, Di Stefano, Rial, Zárraga, Marquitos and Maldini (which featured as starters in all of the finals they won... except Rial in 1960, Zárraga in 1959 and Marquitos in 1958, due to an injury)... Juan Alonso was only the starting keeper in his first 3 CL finals (he was the bench keeper in the following seasons), Lesmes also was a starting defender in his first 3 CL finals (but became a bench player in the following seasons), and Costacurta (despite being instrumental during his first 4 titles) was completely irrelevant when he won his 5th title (he only played 3 games that season, after which he retired).
Oh and, Santisteban... well he was just lucky as fuck to be part of the best ever Real Madrid side... he was always a bench player, and only featured once in a CL final, when he played instead of an injured Zárraga
