and di maria is comfortable in both positions, you just have to give him freedom to play his game, thats all i think
maybe thats his problem with van gaal so far since he wants players to stay in the spot he determines for them

Di Maria's best position is in midfield where he can influence the game more and run at the defence with pace.

Ronaldo plays on the wing as an inside forward, he starts out wide then cuts inside, he even said it's his favourite position as he has more space out wide than he would've had in the middle.

he would most certainly fit either bundesliga or epl, physichal teams, struggle and shit, fights and so, when it comes to technique and doing anything with the ball he's utter shit.
