Greaseman is overrated and an over all jerk. Good player but he's really just a poor man's Neymar in every sense. Would stay away.

looking at his world cup performances i'd strongly disagree. he has shown to be a true leader, his football intelligence is extremely high, and he shits on neymar in terms of defensive workrate and attitude on the pitch - at least when playing for france, haven't been following atlético much lately.

His form from ~~April up to the end of the WC was good, but he hasn't really performed well outside that 3 month period during the last 2 seasons. While I feel like Cholo is completely stagnated and holding the team back at this point (which obviously isn't helping Griezmann), he has overall been awfully inconsistent, invisible and unfocused (distracted by social media, playing fortnite and his branding).

He really hasn't added much to the team in all these years, aside from a few individual strong performances. He joined an Atleti that had won trophies for 3 consecutive seasons (EL in 2012, Copa in 2013 and Liga in 2014... plus a CL final that year), and 5 years later all the silverware he achieved is an EL, despite the squad growing stronger every year. That's really not the leader on the pitch a world class player should be.

What's worse about him is his toxic attitude. Making claims like he's on the same level as Cristiano and Messi, demanding more and more money and special status from Atleti, demanding the club sign his friends, trolling his own fans by deliberately creating uncertainty about his future in order to attentionwhore, producing a fucking documentary about his decision to stay at Atleti and setting up a whole drama circus with teaser trailers to promote it... ffs, I mean people claim Cristiano is a narcissist, but he's an excellent professional and always puts his career first.

Don't get me wrong, he's a very good player, but not the leader a top club needs, and he comes with a bunch of antics that make his drawbacks addup.

rafa is a bayern player through and through, love that man
saturday will be emotional

btw, we did have the news that brazzo talked to an unknown agent in madrid
now griezmann announces that he will leave atleti

i know he is most likely barca bound, but maybe there is a chance :D

Yeah, looks like it will be a race between us and barca. However i would be way happier to see Sane in Munich. Griezman is already 28

thats the problem, off the pitch a complete idiot, but i think he is such a great allround player on the pitch
and almost never injured ^^

if not barca then i guess english clubs will go all in, but i definitely wouldnt mind the football player griezmann in munich ^^

not my point at all. his off the pitch antics are ridiculous without question, i definitely wouldn't want such a player in my club. i was merely commenting on your 'poor man's neymar' remark which, at least if you look at his performances for france during the wc, are simply not warranted. he showed true leadership and maturity there, and his football intelligence is undisputable imo...

Not denying Griezmann's intelligence or defensive work rate; the comparison with Neymar came from the fact they are both talented players involved in unprofessional off the pitch antics, and I feel like Neymar, as much as he's a disgusting diver, adds more to the game than Grizzy and can consistently carry his team (as seen in both club and national level).
