solid game against a strong opponent

doesnt help when you get fucked by gräfe....
at least one could see the var decision now, if that was the left leg of the defender it was indeed half a foot offside

last game it is then

frankfurt kann sich morgen den sechsten platz garantieren und sich ne optimale ausgangslage verschaffen, dass bestenfalls in münchen ein unendschieden für platz 4 reicht (das bayern zeitgleich für die meisterschaft reichen würde)

still cant get over the offside call, a closer look reveals that the defender has his shoulder over the line that was drawn to make the decision
the white is clearly visible and lewa would need size 60 boots to be in front of that

that offside line is still an issue and there is no evidence for an offside in the pictures provided

fucking bullshit

pretty sure that concerning offside they have technology to check very close decisions, so i would assume it's the correct one even though it looks incredibly close.
not surprised that bayern immediately cry foul even though offside is the one thing that is widely accepted to be judged correctly by the var.

anyway, i just can't see bayern losing against frankfurt, dortmund will have a tough match against gladbach who are still fighting for points, so the chances of dortmund are probably not higher than 3%. that being said, it's nice to see the title race will be decided on the final match day.

thing is, i am just wondering how the fuck they were able to see this and i am not 100% sold on what they are doing with the line (despite the perspective it does appear like the defenders shoulder is closer to the goal)

i think you will agree when i say that there has sufficient evidence and everything that has been shown on tv and the stuff i found does not really provide that
so i must assume that these guys have extra tools to make the correct call

if thats the case fine, but otherwise i think that a "might be a few millimeters" decision is not acceptable

btw, if you watched the recent performances and the one from today.....i am rather sure that you would give it more than 3%
this frankfurt team will fight for every inch out there

oh, i'm 100% with you, this is one of the closest calls we've had lately, and if they weren't able to tell for sure, they certainly should not have disallowed the goal - when there is doubt, don't take the goal back, it's that simple - no matter which club, no matter what's on the line.

what i don't like, however, is bayern officials acting like they had proof positive of the decision being wrong, which we haven't seen either. i sincerely hope the dfl will be able to deliver some kind of proof that will end the speculations (i doubt it though), but i've got to be honest with you, offside is the one thing i trust the var on, and i've been consistent with that even when close decisions went against my boys.

concerning the chances, i'd say if anything, 3% was rather generous. yes, bayern have not been exactly stellar lately, but they won't have to do much anyway: a point is enough to seal it against frankfurt, who will most likely already be qualified for EL (i expect them to at least draw against us tomorrow), and bayern play at home. also, let's not forget dortmund's form: they have been conceding late goals and giving away points left and right, even against mediocre opposition - and they play away at gladbach who absolutely have to win to make it into the cl...

kovac and brazzo didnt complain about the decision, only uli did and we all know how to rate that

there wont be a clarification as there is no public pressure
a call like that is not even 1 out of 100 so i guess we have to live with it

if you put like that btw your boys have a part to play as well
mainz winning or getting a point would put massive pressure on frankfurt
frankfurt wins and they can basically secure the cl with a draw just like a point is enough for us as well

brazzo in the famous "sportstudio" tonight was very interesting while we are at it

he avoided the question about the future of kovac so utterly

makes me think that kovac is almost finished

brazzo confirmed that he met with an agent in madrid, however the lopetegui story is fake

damn, i wonder who that was :D

i've read were interested in theo hernandez (lucas brother) aswell
he has a contract with real madrid (after they got him vs 24m from athletico) and was on loan to san sebastian this season
price tag should be 30m-ish and he is a left back

interesting

i see lucas mainly as a center back and we could use some full back help
cant say i am a fan alabas performances in the last 2 seasons and just today they said on sky that he is constantly struggling with muscle problems and regularly has to skip training
still has to play every match for us

would make sense

efforts should be concentrated on at least one big winger signing though before the market gets crazy
and there is still no back up striker (would love to give zirkzee a chance)
