It is the first decision in what is expected to be a busy summer for Van Gaal, who will look to reshape a squad he has consistently said is not balanced .

I really wanted him to succeed, but I don't think it would've worked out, he was given so many chances to prove himself.

Tbh if he were to play for Arsenal I could see him do well. I think United isn't the right team for him since the team itself struggles at times
