true, but seeing how liverpool was not only the home team but also a slight favourite in this draw overall, it was on them to create something, which bayern prevented surprisingly comfortably (considering liverpool's offensive quality and bayern's defensive performances this season).
obviously still a really close match that liverpool could easily decide for themselves in munich, but now they aren't favourites to proceed any more imo...

Indeed the defensive was really bad at some points and was almost sure that was just a matter of time until Liverpool will score.
But anyway they will approach the game with a different tactic for sure, while Liverpool won't take too many risks either.

what makes you think so? 0:0 is certainly a better result for the home team

we sacrificed our entire offense to get a clean sheet somehow
next game is a must win

and i dont even wanna know what happens if the we have to chase the game

it's a dangerous result, but it's a draw away from home, meaning a one goal victory at home is enough to qualify. i haven't checked the official odds, but i would say it's a slight advantage for bayern now...

in the first half they really pissed away some proper chances, but it's not like bayern didn't have a few of their own, and in the second half it looked relatively comfortable for bayern to be honest, i really expected a bit more from liverpool's offensive.

but again, this is far from over, i'd say chances to proceed are bay 55% to liv 45% - whereas before tonight i would have said 60% liv - 40% bay

true, i am mostly worried about getting fucked by away goals tbh
we had always had trouble with that in the last few years and such a situation will be beneficial for liverpools strengths
cant say i want to see another 4:0 thrashing like the one vs real

not to mention that pool will be a better football team than they were today with their full defense on the pitch

we will have the same team, hopefully in a decent shape and a 100% fit coman
he clearly had a problem with his left foot tonight

overall i am happy though that we survived anfield without major damage

At least Bayern have a change to pass, BvB hav almost zero chances...
I still see it 50/50 as Liver needs only one goal to be in advantage.

I say that one of these two - Barca or Liver - won't pass to next round, but of course this is just my feeling.

Edit: Lewa played really bad, no chances at all, hope to be fit else will be very hard without putting problems in offensive.

btw, kovac has literally delivered the most ridiculous interview ever by simply admitting that javi was faking a cramp to waste time and that coman did the same vs hertha

what the motherfuck?

in the defense of lewa, he had the worst job in this game
lone striker with close to zero support

he did what he could do and i cant complain about his workrate

Yeah both cases are bad, you expect to think before throwing words on mouth.
But trying to waste time just to keep the result is a common behaviour that is find even at bigger clubs, so no reason to be shamed for that.

yes, i'm fully aware of that and i was not trying to imply that bayern is a particularly bad case. in fact, if you compare them to barcelona or juve in similar situations, they clearly are not - but that doesn't change my opinion about it being scummy behaviour.

you could make a point calling it 'refreshing' or 'debate inspiring' to outright admit it, but i think it's just plain stupid because let's face it: until we have no way of objectively testing if an injury or cramp is real, there will always be teams and players abusing this to waste time or get some other kind of competitive advantage like drawing a booking for their opponent.
so throwing your own players under the bus like that is not only unnecessary and shitty, it might also backfire because referees read sports newspapers too...
