Tuttosport claims Bolotnicoff was a guest at Juve's headquarters in Turin, where it is said dialogue was opened for the 31-year-old striker.

Talks centred on the player's demands, and Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta appears prepared to accomodate a three-year contract worth €4.5 million per annum.

However, Juventus would have to shell out around €14m for the striker - money they are unable to siphon off during the January transfer window.

Marotta will have to offload a number of players to raise capital for the Forlan transfer. Amauri, Mohamed Sissoko and Marco Storari have all been linked with exits.
