Farewell, Morata :(

I'm sad to see him go, but I can understand him wanting lots of guaranteed playtime in a WC year. Hope he ends the season with good momentum and can help la Roja in Russia.

I guess we'll be going for Mbappé now. He looks like he has great potential and could be a great signing, but honestly I think that a guy with Morata's play style is closer to was what we need as a backup. Although I guess that maybe a guy like Mbappé could finally bench Karim.

It's all just speculation for now anyway, we'll have to see what happens.

Still bullshit he was benched over Benzema who was having his worst year if you ask me.

Completely agree. When Benz was benched for 1-2 games and Morata was starting I had hopes that he would continue being #1 striker, but well, I guess Zidane really likes his Frenchies..

IF we were to get Mbappe though, he couldn't sit on the bench and he'd have to be our #1 striker, which could turn out to be an interesting situation.
