This is the sort of banter you want from your team! Well, if their football careers fail, they could try and take up acting!

A joke video about renewing your season ticket early by 3 Middlesbrough defenders! Made me chuckle!

Bearded guy with new 'bird' (British term for girlfriend) = Johnathon Woodgate (CB)
Dark haired guy on left = George Friend (LB)
Blonde younger guy = Ben Gibson (CB and also our chairman's nephew)

Woody is a local hero, was born, raised and supports my team :D

EDIT: He had a horrible time at Real Madrid, but every other club he has been great! Also good that he has matured a lot in age, and is no longer the hot headed young guy who just doesn't care for punishment!

He was terribly unlucky with Real Madrid. I think his performances were underrated tbh.

He couldn't play a single game during his first season due to injuries, then he scored an own goal and got sent off in his frst game, and then he conceded 2 more own goals in his next 2 games... after that he was never forgiven and always seen as a failure, but he did have some good performances and he defended crosses and set pieces really well. He never seemed to fully recover after such a difficult season though, it's a shame... I think he could have been much more succesful if he didn't have such an unfortunate start at Madrid.

Some of the worst luck in professional football that season! Still a quality CB but gets injured too much. We have him on a 'Pay as you play' contract, so we don't pay him if he doesn't play a game lol... But then he is also a Middlesbrough fan, so he doesn't care, he gets to play for his boyhood team :D

thanks to bayern and dortmund making it to the cup final, mainz has a realistic chance to play in europa league next season...
unfortunately it looks like we're gonna lose choupo-moting and probably müller, i just hope that geis stays for a little longer with the club. but considering his performances this season and his age it's only a matter of time before schalke / wolfsburg / leverkusen will try to sign him...

anyway, big match against dortmund (away) tomorrow. just glad they are in such terrible shape atm and lost their last couple of matches against the farmer teams from spain and bavaria... owait...
